Of course, the highlight of any trip to Kenya is the safari. Most of tourists like us discover majestic elephant herds, lions, and a variety of wildlife and birds in Tsavo East National Park, just a two hours drive away from our main base at Watamu. This combination of safari and underwater adventures makes us the perfect choice for divers who travelers seeking both adventure and relaxation, all in an exclusive north coast location in Watamu, far from the tourist crowds of the south coast but still only 2.5 hours from Mombasa. The Watamu Marine National Park on the north coast of Kenya is an absolute highlight, offering unforgettable diving experiences. With a total of 16 dive sites ranging from 8 meters to 45 meters deep, we are proud to be one of Kenya’s premier diving schools and destinations in partnership with Extra Divers Worldwide. Our dive sites are conveniently accessible with our two dive boats in just 20 to 40 minutes. The water temperature remains between 20 and 27 degrees Celsius throughout the year. Additionally, our waters offer opportunities for gentle drift dives, night dives, and exploring ancient shipwrecks, making Watamu one of Kenya’s most exciting diving destinations. Furthermore, Watamu boasts an impressive variety of marine fauna and flora, from tiny sea snails to majestic whale sharks (seasonally). Macro enthusiasts especially find fulfillment here!
