Sea Shepherd Greece, in collaboration with iSea and the diving centers Blue Yard Hub and Oceanic Diving Center-Nikiti, coordinate a two-day underwater cleanup on April 20th-21st.

 

 

UNDERWATER CLEANUP 20th-21st OF APRIL AT THESSALONIKI

Sea Shepherd Greece, in collaboration with iSea and the diving centers Blue Yard Hub and Oceanic Diving Center – Nikiti, coordinate a two-day underwater cleanup on April 20th-21st, at the port of Nea Michaniona at Thessaloniki, under the aegis of the Municipality of Termaikos. A coastal cleanup will follow by iSea, as well as the presentation of the program #zeroplastic, under the public awareness campaign about plastics and microplastics in the Greek seas.
At the event, which is held with the cooperation of Goethe Institute Thessaloniki and the Department of cultural events, will participate divers from all over Greece, as well as the E.S.T.F.GR of Thessaloniki.
Part of the waste that will be pulled from the sea will be used for the creation of artifact to pinpoint the problem of sea pollution in Greece.
